I visited Dr. Azmuddin for a routine colonoscopy, and he did an excellent job. He is very competent, intelligent, and friendly. For the first time, I experienced almost no recovery time from the procedure. After a short stay in the hospital, I walked out with my husband to enjoy a large breakfast. I am also pleased that Dr Azmuddin gave me a choice of 2 good hospitals: Houston Methodist-Willowbrook and St. Lukes. I chose Houston Methodist, and was very happy with all of their services. More

I was diagnosed with colon cancer. Dr. Azi performed the robotic laparoscopic colectomy and my experience was excellent. Dr. Azi was very professional taking the time to answer any/all questions and explaining everything that would occur prior to surgery, while in the hospital, and during my recovery. I was only in the hospital 48 hours and my outcome has been very positive with absolutely no adverse side affects plus a speedy recovery to my normal pre-surgery diet and exercise routines. More

Come prepared to wait beyond your scheduled time this practice was running easily an hour behind and unfortunately I had a nine month old baby I brought with me. Hubby had to work, they did take me pretty soon after I complained but baby fell asleep on me in the office. Doctor was great though very considerate, kind and even offered to help get the door etc since I had the stroller. I’d recommend this doctor. I’d also advise plan to spend significant time there. They tell you to arrive twenty minutes before your scheduled time. So,.. I was a bit irritated as I’d not planned on a two plus hour ordeal. It was about an hour and a half from when I arrived promptly before I was seen and then a good twenty minutes with the physician so it was a two hour quest. Not what I’d planned for. More

Dr. Azi is not only professional but very caring toward his patients and staff. While maintaining a high level of professionalism toward me, I also witnessed his playful side with his staff while they were working on my file/insurance. Such a breath of fresh air to see a doctor treat his staff like family. He is extremely gentle during the exam, and explained everything in detail, including my options. After 2 surgeries from an ER doctor and one from another doctor, my fistula kept flaring up. I decided to get a second opinion from Dr Azimuddhin, and I was convinced to go for a third surgery. Right after the surgery I felt this time it would be all fixed. Because he did the procedure so clean and the incision was thoroughly stitched. I have never given any reviews, but the pain and the procedures I went through last year literally took a toll on me. I went to visit dr knapps not knowing if he would help me on a problem I already had . He went straight out to help me not being afraid I had fishlas and a botched colon surgery from a different doctor. With in a month he scheduled surgery and did a wonderful job helping me and did an Ileostomy cleaning me out getting rid of the Abscess and tube bag that I had. He is very professional and there to make sure you are taken care of . The best surgeon who was not Afraid to help me out when no other surgeon wanted to do my surgery. More

I was referred to Dr.Azimuddin by my GI and PCP doctor for my diverticulitis and he came highly recommended. Dr. Azi was able to get me in very quickly, only 4 days and 2 were the weekend. He was on time, took a good history, and immediately started explaining what was wrong with me. I went to a different colorectal surgeon 6 months ago and she was terrible and gave me little to no info, and I then spent the last 6 months in terrible pain. Dr. Azi informed me as to what was going on and I finally have answers and a plan forward out of this. I had a great overall experience, if you can even say that about a surgery. I have had a number of surgeries over the years for various things, but this was my first experience with Dr. Azimuddin. Dr. Azi has been so great through a hectic year I had last year. He asked me every question I wanted to ask but if course never think of when you get there. I started having extreme pain and had suffered for 2 weeks. I had gone to another Dr. who prescribed some medication but the issue kept getting worse. It was so bad I went to the ER and they were no help. I called Dr. Azimuddin and he got me in the next day. I was in so much pain that he had me admitted to the hospital that day. He conducted surgery the following day and that took care of the issue. That was 6 days ago and I am feeling great and have no pain. I am really glad I was referred to Dr. Azimudin by my PCP. I had terrible hemorrhoids and he walked me through my options, before I made the decision to have a hemorrhoidectemy. Dr. Azzimuddin diagnosed and resolved my issue in 2 weeks, that had been on going for 7 months.
