Dr. Azimuddin did my surgery at Methodist, and the surgery went well. However, afterwards, I had issues with constipation (kinda a given since it was a GI surgery) but I called to ask if it was okay to take a certain product and was told I’d get a call back and never did. I took it anyway because i was miserable. The next day, I called to ask if they would prescribe zofran because I was throwing up several times a day which was very painful to the surgery site as well, and I was told it would be prescribed to my pharmacy. The pharmacy never received the prescription. The doctor was perfectly nice at my postop, and the surgery was fine, but his front office must not be communicating and not doing their job and that was very frustrating. More
