I was referred to Dr Knapps after a prostate MRI. After the initial consultation he booked me for a colonoscopy within 5 days and during the procedure removed 2 polyps which were benign. He is very friendly and puts you at ease. My wife accompanied me during my appointments with him and she has decided she wants him to do her colonoscopy as well. More

SIMPLY WONDERFUL - Husband had not been feeling well and not eating like usual. Started having abdominal pain. Could not get into family practice and ended up at Methodist ER. After quick tests and results on an overcrowded ER, we were told he had a cute appendicitis and needs surgery ASAP. Nurse came over and brought us up for surgery and who was on call???? The wonderful Dr. Knapps. We were told by all the nurses we were super lucky as he is the best. He was kind, funny and caring. He explained the procedure and put us at ease. Follow up appointment was equally nice and now I am a patient getting checked for the 1st time. He is truly an amazing doctor who cares. More

Definitely recommend Dr Knapps. Got his name from my vascular surgeon at Methodist Wdlnds. He took care of my hernia surgery and was excellent. He explains things in a clear manner, he listens and cares. He is professional and loves what he does. Office staff is nice and appointments are on time. More

Awesome Doctor - I was referred to Dr. Knapps by my PCP after multiple months of concerns with a possible hemorrhoid. After the first visit, Dr. Knapps explained that the issue appeared to be a fistula and not a hemorrhoid as originally expected. He went on to explain what a fistula is and symptoms which totally aligned with what I was experiencing. A surgery was scheduled at Houston Methodist, The Woodlands where I had a great experience with him and the whole care team. I would highly recommend Dr. Knapps for any colorectal issues.One additional thing I would like to mention is that he is fully bilingual in Spanish and English which contributed to a positive experience. As a native Spanish speaker, it is sometimes easier to explain certain things in Spanish which I was able to do with him.Thank you, Dr. Knapps! More
